great idea!

There is also a bakesale location in Jamaica Plain (Boston), MA, for any local MA residents. It's Ula Cafe - 284 Amory St. My Japanese sister-in-law and I will be baking tons of goodies on Friday night and delivering them to Ula on Saturday. Please visit one of the locations to buy some goods and/or donate :)

Brilliant idea! I see my town is already on the list. Japan affected me so much I signed up to become a permanent volunteer with http://www.shelterboxusa.org/

Thats great Vicki that you took action with your feelings and became a volunteer! I know many people feel helpless andthat is a great way to contribute. It's also a good reminder for me to get my emergency kit together for the earthquake that will inevitably happen in my local area (I am very close to a fault).
@inthekitchen Thanks for sharing the info on the Boston bake sale! I wish I had a Japanese-inspired goody on deck to make....

Impressive blog! -Arron
